Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. She is best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other roles of note include the lead role in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin started her acting career when she was seven. Her aunt, who was the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her one small part on the television series Father Murphy. Her professional career began after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of parts in both the television and film industry. Martin, in addition to being a skilled actor and dancer, she is also a successful ballet photographer. A mother of two, Martin is the spokesperson for the nation for Lupus and is constantly spreading awareness regarding the disease since her sister died of it in just 19.
