Kellie martin is an American film, television and stage performer. Her most famous parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". She is also known for appearing in the titular role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin started her acting career when she was seven. Her aunt, who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. Following after her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting, and managed to secure significant roles on the film and television industries. Apart from being an actor, Martin is also a talented photographer and dancer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus at age 19, inspired her to become the Lupus National spokesperson.
