Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy", the drama about a young woman known as Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is most famous for her performance as the protagonist in The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career in acting when she was seven when her aunt who served as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children helped Martin land a role in 1981's series "Father Murphy". After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more seriously. She landed significant roles in television and on the big screen. Martin as well as being an actor, is also a talented photographer and ballet dancer. Her sister, who died from Lupus at age 19, led her to becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
